The Music Sets The Tone For Your Wedding Ceremony

There is one person you will contract for your wedding that by the nature of the task, will be in total control of the day's flow. No, it's not the caterer, photographer, videographer, or the function hall manager. Those people are important, but will have far less influence on the day's outcome. The person that I am referring to is your music provider, be it a live band or DJ. You'll trust them to set the tempo, provide the atmosphere you desire to ensure the success of your wedding day from the moment the guests arrive till you part with the vidai ceremony.

Shopping around
Your goal in shopping for a live band or DJ should be to determine who offers the most experience, professionalism and talent. First, look for someone who is anxious to do business with you. If your call or email is returned promptly, that's a good sign. You'll probably want to work with someone who is pleasant and who you are comfortable with. They should be able and willing to take the time to meet you and offer some constructive ideas to help you plan the events of your day. Flexibility to your wishes, incorporating your ideas into the event is important too, so look for a band or DJ who will work with you, not one who sets their own agenda.

Sound System
A professional grade sound system is essential. The quality of sound systems can vary greatly from one company to the next. Remember BIG is not necessarily better when it comes to sound equipment, your not going to blast the volume, your out to seek clarity of all the songs. Ask them if they bring cordless microphones along. The priest may want to say a few words of blessing or perhaps the wedded couple would like to address the guests. The cordless mic looks much better and avoids people trampling over cables around the mandap.

You've been dreaming about this day your whole life, it has to be PERFECT !
